Would you like to learn more about volunteering with SCI, Interculturality, Stereotypes, Post-colonialism and so much more?
Our pre-departure training is the perfect preparation for your volunteering project (EVS, Workcamps, Long-term, North-South, Campcoordinators* etc.) but also if you are interested in general!
At the training, we will prepare you for your SCI longterm project with different workshops, games and reports of projects. It is also a nice event for returnees to share their experiences at their workcamps.
WHEN AND WHERE
We will meet at Villa Bernau Quartierzentrum (Seftigenstrasse 243, 3084 Wabern BE).
The detailed program will be sent to you 2-4 weeks before.
PROGRAM
- New volunteers: This seminar consists of different workshops and methods to prepare you for your volunteering experience! Moreover you’ll get to meet returnees and the SCI staff to share their stories.
- Returnees: You will be able to meet other volunteers who took part in a workcamp this summer and talk about your experiences, struggles and highlights.
