TRAININGS
We believe that education plays a fundamental role when striving for peace and development. Education is a human right. In our training courses, we use the Non Formal Education (NFE) method – meant to be participatory and accessible to everyone. Through dialogue and intercultural exchange, we can promote a critical understanding of the world and changes in our society.
We offer various workshops on topics such as interculturality, conflict resolution, non-violent communication, group dynamics, cultural prejudices/stereotypes, Global Justice, racism, post-colonialism, gender, safe spaces and much more.

Local Projects in Switzerland
Are you back from your workcamp or long-term assignment and want to stay active in Switzerland? Or do you want to put the SCI values into practice at the local level? Let yourself be inspired!
Become a Camp Coordinator
Join a group of international volunteers for 1 – 3 weeks at a workcamp in Switzerland!
This is a great opportunity to volunteer at a social or ecological workcamp in Switzerland during the summer. As a camp coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating between the volunteers from different countries and the local project partner in Switzerland. You will work together with other volunteers and learn and discover new things together. We will prepare you in detail for your assignment.
For volunteers up to 30 years of age who are employed or in an apprenticeship, it is possible to get an additional (paid) week’s holiday for the assignment period as a coordinator! Read more about this below!
