SUMMARY:Living Library Bern: Climate Justice
DESCRIPTION:Wir möchten euch zu einer Living Library zum Thema Climate Justice am Dienstag\, 3. Mai\, in Bern (18:30-12:30 Uhr) einladen. Diese Veranstaltung ist eine Zusammenarbeit mit BENE (Verein für Nachhaltige Entwicklung an den Berner Hochschulen).\nDON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER \nLiving Library ist eine innovative Methode um den Dialog zu fördern\, Vorurteile abzubauen und Verständnis zu schaffen. Die lebendige Bibliothek schafft einen Raum für Gespräche und Austausch. \nIn dieser Living Library hast du die Chance\, dich im direkten Gespräch mit Menschen zu Climate Justice auseinanderzusetzen. Die lebendigen Bücher bringen ihre eigene Geschichte mit\, sind unterschiedlich alt und haben verschiedene soziale und kulturelle Hintergründe. \nDie «Bücher» erzählen dir in ca. 30 Minuten aus ihrem Leben und von ihren Erfahrungen. Der Eintritt zu diesem Event ist frei. Von 18:30 – 21:30h kann man laufend teilnehmen. \nWir erlauben uns für die Organisation des Events einen Kollektentopf aufzustellen. \nDie Living Library findet im Wartsaal Kaffee (Lorrainestrasse 15\, 3013 Bern) statt. \nOrganisator*innen: \nDer SCI Schweiz organisiert Freiwilligenarbeit\, die zum Frieden in einem breiten Sinne beitragen: zur sozialen Gerechtigkeit\, nachhaltigen Entwicklung\, Gleichberechtigung\, Solidarität und gewaltfreien Konfliktlösung. Durch lokales Engagement wie Freiwilligenarbeit\, Veranstaltungen und Trainings\, setzt sich der SCI für eine Kultur des Friedens ein. \nBENE ist der Verein für Nachhaltige Entwicklung an den Berner Hochschulen. In verschiedenen Projektgruppen beschäftigen sich Studierende aus diversen Fachbereichen mit unterschiedlichen Aspekten einer Nachhaltigen Entwicklung. Durch Informationen und Aktionen möchte BENE das studentische und gesellschaftliche Umfeld für die Problematik der Nachhaltigen Entwicklung sensibilisieren und zu individuellem nachhaltigen Handeln in den Bereichen Umwelt\, Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft motivieren.
