Wikipedia for Peace: Follow-up 2024

About the project

We would like to invite you to editing Wikipedia together in four online sessions this autumn and winter. No matter whether your last edit was last week, last month or a year/ years ago. You are more than welcomed to join our 2 hour long sessions. We will meet to exchange ideas, discuss peace-related issues and content needed in Wikipedia and edit together.

Dates:

• 5th November, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. CET
• 12th November, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. CET
• 3rd December, 6-8 p.m. CET
• 10th December 6-8 p.m. CET

These are follow-up meetings to keep the community motivated and supported after Wikipedia for Peace camps. Wikipedia for Peace has been organised by Service Civil International and Wikimedia since 2015 in order to improve the content about peace on Wikipedia and in order to engage new target groups (young people, activists, women*, queer people) in the world of Wikipedia. This specific camp is organised by Service Civil International Switzerland in cooperation with Wikimedia Switzerland.
