Keep it in mind

Decolonising volunteering

If you are thinking of volunteering in Africa, Asia or Latin America to “help poor people”, sit back and read on. If you want to volunteer in Switzerland or any other western country, stay here and read on too. It’s worth it.

Climate and Volunteering

Embarking on a journey towards a more sustainable lifestyle is not merely a personal choice; it is a collective responsibility imperative for combating climate change. We suggest you choose an ecological project.

Volunteering in orphanages

At SCI Switzerland, we prioritize ethical volunteering practices. As part of our commitment, we decided to stop sending volunteers to orphanages. This decision is based on several important reasons.
